As a pet care service provider, we are committed to providing safe and reliable care for your pet. Our policies and procedures are designed to ensure the well-being and happiness of your pet, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and quality. By engaging in our services, you acknowledge and accept our policy.
- Health and Safety: We require all pets to be up-to-date on their vaccinations and free from contagious diseases and parasites. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever. While we make every effort to provide reliable and satisfactory services, there may be instances where we deem it necessary to discontinue service in the best interest of our clients and their pets.
- Communication: We maintain open and honest communication with our clients and provide regular updates on the care and well-being of their pets. We are available to answer any questions or concerns that our clients may have at any time.
- Late Fees: Late fees will be assessed as follows: If a client is more than 1 hour late for their scheduled pick-up time, a fee of 250:- will be charged. For every additional hour that a client is late beyond the initial one-hour late fee, an additional fee of 500:- will be charged. We understand that there may be extenuating circumstances that may prevent clients from picking up their pets on time. In such cases, we urge clients to contact us as soon as possible to discuss alternative arrangements.
- Cancellation Policy: We understand that cancellations may be necessary from time to time, and we kindly request that clients provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations of dog walks or drop-ins, 48 hours’ notice before any daycare, and 72 hours before any boardings or house sittings. A 50% fee will be charged for cancellations made less than the allotted time before the scheduled service.
- Liability: While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of your pet, we cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury, illness, or death that may occur during or after the provision of our services. By engaging our services, clients acknowledge and accept this risk and agree to hold us harmless from any and all liability.
- Abandonment: As a pet care service provider, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise that may prevent pet owners from retrieving their pets as planned. However, we reserve the right to deem a pet abandoned if the owner fails to communicate with us for a period of three (3) consecutive days or more. In the event that we consider a pet abandoned, we will make every effort to contact the pet owner using the contact information provided (contact, emergency contact, and vet information). If we are unable to reach the owner or receive a response within a reasonable timeframe, we may take the following actions, including but not limited to: contacting the local animal control authorities to report the abandoned pet, transferring the pet to a local animal shelter or rescue organization and/or seeking legal counsel and pursuing any necessary legal action. If the pet owner wishes to reclaim their pet after it has been deemed abandoned, they will be responsible for all costs associated with the care and housing of the pet during its time with us, as well as any fees associated with its transfer or relocation. We urge all pet owners to provide us with updated contact information and to communicate with us in the event of any changes to their plans or circumstances.
- Privacy: We respect our clients’ privacy and do not disclose any personal information or details about the services we provide without explicit permission.
- Professionalism: We pride ourselves on maintaining a high level of professionalism and quality in all aspects of our business. Our staff are trained and experienced in providing pet care services and are dedicated to providing exceptional, ‘part-of-the-family’ care for your pet.
- Photo Release: By engaging in our services, clients grant Paraconda permission to take photographs or videos of their pets during the provision of our services. These photographs or videos may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to, social media posts, website content, and advertising materials.
